The Youth Tent City
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAY ONSITE.
We will be hosting a series of workshops and activities onsite. Feel free to stop by between 9am and 9pm to attend workshops, make art, and hang out. For safety reasons, after 9pm, ONLY campers will be allowed onsite.
Upcoming workshops:
Monday 6pm-8pm: Nonviolence Training by the Permibus group from Madison, WI
Tuesday 10am-12pm: Nonviolence Training by the Michigan Peace Team
Wednesday 4pm-6pm: Nonviolence Training by the Michigan Peace Team
Thursday: 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm: Bike Generator Workshop-Jeff
Friday: 6pm-8pm: Variety Show-Madison BikeIt
The tent city will be open from June 21 (day time)- June 26 (daytime). The large youth tents will house young people between ages 18-24. Camping lots will accommodate campers between ages 18-26 sleeping in their own tents. The campground will include: solar showers, porta-potties, wash stations, security, bike racks, charge-up stations, and wireless internet.
A bus pass ($5 for the week) will provide transportation directly between Cobo and the campground.

If you want to rent a bike for the week, click here. There is no guarantee that we will have a bike for you, because they will be arriving during the USSF. The bikes will be assigned at a first come first serve basis and someone will be in touch with you after you fill out your reservation.
